Baby Birds are starting out in the home buying experience. They could be the millennial generation that has worked hard to get ready to purchase their own home. Sometimes this generation does it on their own, and sometimes their parents help them, because owning your own home is the American Dream for almost everyone. They can also be a gen X couple moving to the Denver area for a job. While we ourselves are empty nesters, we have been baby birds at one time, and the parents of baby birds at another. We are here to help each group understand and execute the necessary steps in purchasing a home, and we especially love being part of that excitement for first time buyers, and buyers who are new to the area.
Some of the trends we are seeing for the millennial and gen X generation are large kitchens, home offices, big family rooms, and yards for the family to play in.
A new phenomenon that has emerged as the Boomer generation moves along, is that of buying a multigenerational home. This can be a home big enough for a family to be comfortable in, with a separate area for the aging parents to live in. In this type of home, the younger generation can keep an eye on parents who may need extra help, and aging parents can often help out with household responsibilities.
Whatever it is you’re looking for in the Denver metro area, we can help, and we’d love to.
